"The team not only listened but gave us ideas to develop so we could build on the vision we had"Working with Nurture Media has enabled us to create a brand we are really proud of. When we first met Linda, we had an idea regarding what we wanted the business and brand to look like, but had no idea how to create it. Linda introduced us to the Nurture Media team and together they listened to our thoughts and ideas and got exactly what we were about. For us it was important that people would understand us – we didn’t want to be another accountancy business but a business built on our life experiences and our dreams, which we wanted to share with people. The team not only listened but gave us ideas to develop so we could build on the vision we had.Because Nurture Media have such a close-knit team it meant everything could be dealt with in one place, from filming a TV news report, to writing an e-book to creating a website. This has meant there has been fluidity at all times, everyone working together for one sole purpose- supporting us. With Emma being a newbie to the world of business the team have been a great support, always on the end of a call, text or email offering guidance. Not only are the team a great asset to our business in the ongoing assistance they offer, writing blogs, articles, e books and media support but they have become great friends as well. We look forward to our continued relationship.
“A trusted source of support in these recent, difficult times”We’ve been working with the Nurture Media team for more than 10 years and they have never failed to deliver – as experts in their field. Most recently they landed us a scorcher in in the newspaper and trade magazines. They also help with our copywriting and have been a trusted source of support in these recent, difficult times. I would highly recommend their services; it has always been a pleasure to work alongside them.
“It means a lot to know I have an editorial team at my side I can rely on”Thank you Nurture Media for all the excellent PR and content marketing work you have done on behalf of my clients. The articles and press releases, you produce, often with a very tight turnaround time, are flawless – and it’s great to know I can rely on you to make sure you fulfil the brief and meet deadlines every time! Here’s to lots more collaboration and great work – it means a lot to know I have an editorial team at my side I can rely on. At a time when there seem to be so many people out there who promise the earth then fail to deliver, it’s reassuring to know you unfailingly do what you say you can.
“Tenacious, professional and talented"I must admit, I’m a bit of a fan of Linda’s. My go to person for PR & a genuine wordsmith. When you’ve that brain freeze on finding the correct words - she can unlock it for you. When you’re getting no engagement on social media or press don’t want to take your story - call her. I’ve referred clients to her for PR support through to blog writing and they’ve seen tangible results - getting into national press, lots of engagement online and importantly, converted sales. She’s the wordsmith, I’m not. Tenacious, professional and talented are just three words I’d use to describe Linda, authentic and friendly being two more.
“Linda makes wonderful things happen"I have no idea how Linda Aitchison achieves the results that she achieves? Since Linda and I met through our voluntary work at The Buddy Bag Foundation, I have witnessed how frequently Linda has succeeded in getting this children’s charity into national newspapers, TV awards and regional media. It is impossible to measure the benefits received by The Buddy Bag Foundation as a result of Linda’s passion and dedication. And the accolades continue. Linda makes wonderful things happen, by applying her awesome talents in varied ways.
"The Nurture Media team has supported Smile for Joel in so many ways over the last couple of years at no cost to the charity and Linda is still continuously suggesting new CSR and sponsorship initiatives to help boost fundraising into the future."
“Going the extra mile isn't just something she does - it's in her DNA"For pure professionalism and attention to detail as a journalist, trainer and PR, I couldn't recommend Linda more highly. Far more than this, however, it's her compassion and her constant ability to look to see how she can help people - that make her exceptional. I've been on the receiving end of her kindness and wisdom (and common-sense business training). Going the extra mile isn't just something she does - it's in her DNA.
“A first-class communicator with a nose for a story"Linda is a PR genius who can turn her hand to anything. As a first-class communicator she has a nose for a story and knows exactly how to tell it to the right title. That could be as a journalist/contributor using her wealth of contacts on local and national media or as a publicity specialist packaging stories for Britain's top newspapers, magazines or TV. I have been lucky enough to know and work with Linda for more than 15 years and she is a rare thing - brilliant at what she does, professional and fun. She has laser insight, understands the inner workings of the media and knows how to use that to her and her clients' advantage to produce sparkling copy, sticky content and killer campaigns. She's also an incredible travel writer who takes readers on journeys with her and I always look forward to devouring her stories and commissioning her. I'm quite simply a fan and can't recommend Linda highly enough.
“The 'wow' factor"We’d created a marketing brochure, but the copy didn’t quite seem to be hitting the mark, it felt a bit dry and wordy. Katie did an amazing job, turning our dry text into something that gave our programme a “wow” factor. This work was done within a matter of hours and really showed how using people that really know how to write great copy is so valuable. More than just the technical expertise, Linda has a great way of pointing out how we can make improvements in a friendly, helpful manor. I will certainly be using Nurture Media’s services in the future and wouldn’t hesitate in recommending them to others.
“Worth its weight in gold"It became apparent to me that I have to up my marketing, and it had to involve PR. I don't have a huge budget; then I remembered that Linda does a PR training course. I'm not great in a group training setting, so I paid for Linda's 121 PR Coaching. I knew little about PR, but I did not realise how little! Having Linda, a brilliant journalist, teach me not only how to write more effectively, but how to communicate with publications and other PR professionals, was worth its weight in gold. I can't stress enough how much ALL businesses should do this training course. Thank you, Linda.
“She says it helps her heart"Where do I start, The Nurture Media team has supported Smile for Joel in so many ways over the last couple of years at no cost to the charity and Linda is still continuously suggesting new CSR and sponsorship initiatives to help boost fundraising into the future. Most recently we were delighted that Emily from Nurture Media put together our first newsletter for our supporters, with compelling and heart-felt content about what we have been up to since lockdown, highlighting ways to help us as we head into a new year. Within 24 hours of sending out our sales were significantly boosted. Amazing work – thank you Emily. Linda has become a good friend and also helped us with our website, writing our trustee section and offered copywriting and proofreading support throughout our fabulous new site by Ross Redfern at Staffordshire Web Design. This has brought peace of mind that our key messages are as precise and targeted as possible, enabling us to know we can face the future with confidence. Linda has also helped behind the scenes when I have needed advice with difficult wording– one example was the best way of communicating our much-anticipated Jump for Joel event was having to be postponed because of the pandemic. The most sensitive area Linda has helped was in negotiating with national newspapers as we marked the fifth anniversary of the day life as we knew it ended. In doing so, she represented Owen and I and negotiated and got a donation of £3,000 for the charity. I have learnt too well how media re write stories to sell papers and not always write what they promise, for me this is so sensitive and never easy. Linda took some of that stress away through dealing with the media on our behalf and we are glad to have had her at our side. I know that Linda truly understands having been bereaved young herself, she has become a very good friend and is committed to help Smile For Joel help families who are torn apart by murder and terrorism. She says it helps her heart. We are very grateful for everything she has given Smile For Joel and given me personally.
