Adventurous fundraisers are being sought to climb a London landmark in aid of a West Midlands charity. Smile for Joel is searching for individuals to sign up to climb the 52m O2 Arena in May. The charity was formed by Suzy Evans and her son Owen after the 2015 Tunisian terror attack, where three members of of their family were killed. West Midlands charity receives donation from Amazon

Amazon has provided nearly £50,000 worth of donations to a West Midlands charity that helps child victims of domestic violence. The Buddy Bag Foundation provides essential items for children entering emergency care. Employees from Amazon UK’s delivery station and fulfilment centre network volunteered to pack Buddy Bags in the lead up to Christmas. The bags contain 12 essential items including pyjamas, underpants, vests, toiletries, stationery, books, and a knitted toy or Buddy Bear, which the Foundation then supplies to children who often have to leave their homes at the last minute. West Midlands charity to receive one of the Queen’s final awards

The Buddy Bag Foundation, a West Midlands charity that helps children entering emergency accommodation as they flee domestic violence, will receive one of the final awards approved by Queen Elizabeth II at a special ceremony this month.
